By default, it will be possible through the Base module to send e-mails to the customer's contact person or one's employees. If you would like to be able to send SMS, the SMS module has to be activated.
Supervisors will only be able to send messages to contacts located in the areas they manage.
It will only be possible to send messages through the web version of CleanManager.
NOTE:
If you want to send an SMS, the add-on module Text Messaging must be activated. The administrator will have the option to check if the module is activated by following the article: Add-on modules
In this article, learn how an administrator/supervisor sends a message through CleanManager:
How to send an e-mail

Choose between one or more recipients of the e-mail and whether it should be both employees and contact persons who are to receive it.
The contact persons and employees, who have not been assigned an e-mail in the system, will be displayed here.

By default, the system will end the e-mail with “With kind regards,” as well as the name of the person writing.

Select/Deselect Send a copy to my own e-mail
Finish the process, by clicking on Send e-mail when the e-mail is ready.
INFO:
Each recipient will receive a separate e-mail, ensuring their privacy.

How to send an SMS

Pick between one or more recipients for the SMS and whether it should be both employees and contact persons who are to receive it.
It will be displayed which contact persons, and employees, have not been assigned a phone number in the system.

Here the administrator/supervisor must decide whether they want to use their own phone number, which is registered in the system, or whether it should be CleanSMS.
Messages from your own number can be answered, by the receiver, whereas CleanSMS cannot.

NOTE:
It is important to keep an eye on how many characters are used in the SMS, as it determines how many SMS messages the SMS itself takes up. The length of an SMS message is 161 characters and the maximum length is 1,530 characters.
Should an SMS, for instance, have a length of 203 characters, it will count as two SMS and hence be taxed for two.
